Questions, answered plainly.
If something isn’t covered here, ask us on a call. We would rather tell you honestly than have you guess.
What makes you different from other agencies?
Most agencies match on logistics: hours, location, rate. We do that too, and then we go further. Our caregivers are trained on a child development framework and chosen for character, not just credentials. Our founder is a nurse, and that standard runs through everything we do.
What is the framework?
A set of fundamentals we build into daily care: resilience, compassion, structure and kindness. We adapt it to each child’s age and stage, so what it looks like for a toddler is different from what it looks like for an eight-year-old.
How long does placement take?
Most families are matched within 1-4 weeks. We move as quickly as we can without cutting corners on who we put in front of you.
What does it cost?
Our placement fee is bespoke to your family’s specific needs and will be discussed on your intake call. Your nanny’s pay is separate and goes directly to them. We’ll help you set a rate that’s fair for your area.
How do you screen candidates?
Experience verification, reference calls with families they’ve actually worked for, background checks, and an in-depth interview. Then framework training before placement.
What if the placement doesn't work out?
We stand behind our placements. If a match doesn’t work out within the guarantee period, we’ll restart the search for you without charging another placement fee. We’ll walk you through the specifics of the guarantee on our call so you know exactly what’s covered before you commit.
Do you handle payroll and taxes?
NO, we are not a tax or payroll service. We will refer you to one of our partners who will advise you should you wish to use a payroll service.
Do you place nannies throughout the USA?
Yes, our service extends across the USA.
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. Caregivers never pay us. Our fee is paid by the family.
What experience do I need?
At least 3 years of professional childcare experience and references we can verify.
How long does the process take?
This depends on the number of jobs we have in your area. When you apply and interview we will provide you with this information.
Do I get a say in which families I meet?
Always. We introduce you to families who fit what you want. You are never obligated to take a placement.
What kind of pay can I expect?
Rates depend on experience, hours, and the family’s needs, but we advocate for fair pay and we don’t work with families who won’t meet it.
